The first Shirley Temple dolls were made in composition by Ideal Toy Corporation starting in the 1930s through the 1940s and then in vinyl until 1970 when Ideal Toy went out of business. Danbury Mint manufactured most of the collectible porcelain version since the 1990’s. Shirley Temple has also been a paper doll many, many times.
